As you know, Harvard President Drew Faust is stepping down at the end of this academic year, after 11 years of leading the university. In keeping with tradition, the HGSC Board of Directors is drafting a letter to Lawrence S. Bacow, the incoming Harvard president, outlining our priorities, concerns, and aspirations. Our 35 year history advocating for LGBTQ+ issues on campus gives us the standing and the responsibility to make our voices heard. We invite you to join us in this mission.
On February 26th at 6pm, we will be holding a town hall in Harvard Yard (Emerson Hall 106) where we will come together to discuss LGBTQ+ priorities at Harvard. At that meeting, we will also be happy to answer any questions that you might have about what it means to be an HGSC Director -- anyone interested in joining the Board is especially encouraged to attend.
