Arthur's Holiday Party
HGSC NYC is grateful to Arthur Fullerton (MBA '89) for inviting HGSC members and friends to the Oasis rooftop lounge of his Upper West Side pied-a-terre. I've been a member of the HGSC forever and have attended a few events over the years. From 2009 until this year I was living in a small town New Baltimore in the Hudson Valley, a quiet, beautiful spot. I've been active in the HBS Alumni Angels for the past 7 or so years getting a pied-a-terre on the UWS to more easily participate.
Last year I purchased and renovated a one bedroom in one of Trump buildings (120 Riverside Blvd at 66th) over the old Penn rail yards. He went broke while constructing my building and sold the air rights so his misfortune created the best roof deck on the Westside! It's too cold to be outdoors, but still a great view from the rooftop lounge.
I have caterers lined up, a friend with a small trio for background music, a great view, convenient transport (M72, M57, M66 all within a block), lots of parking, and a friendly building manager. I'm over 30 years sober so this is a non-alcoholic event (something I think we need more of). With the RSVPs I've gotten so far, I have space for 40 and I'd love to invite HGSC members to come and celebrate the holidays. There is no charge, no gifts, just a chance to mix and mingle on a Sunday afternoon.
