January 2025 Author Forum Recap
On January 26, 2025, HGSC's NYC Chapter proudly presents Michelle Lerner (HLS '98) to discuss her new novel Ring with Jonathan Vatner (AB '01), author of The Bridesmaids Union. Our community packed the Bureau of General Services—Queer Division, located in The Center in Greenwich Village, and they were rivetted by Michelle's readings from her novel of a non-binary parent grieving and preparing for the end in the desolate icescape of Northern Canada. Among these dark contemplations, Michelle's moving prose proves a "balm for the psyche" to carry readers between hope and despair. We're grateful for Michelle and Jonathan's contributions.
