Harvard Medical School LAHMS creates an OUTList
The medical student group seeks to create list of mentors and support for LGBTQ medical and dental students
Over the past five years, Harvard Medical School has made huge strides in becoming more welcoming and inclusive of the LGBT community. While so many successes can be seen here at Harvard and beyond for lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and the transgender community – there is still much work to be done.
An important piece of this work is building up our network of mentors and support for LGBT medical and dental students. Your institution and the role it plays as a part of our affiliated network for training is a crucial component.
The LGBT student group of HMS and HSDM – LAHMS (lgbt.hms.harvard.edu) – has created an online survey for faculty and researchers who are LGBT and allies to fill-out and join the OutList.
This is entirely voluntary.
Take the survey here:

There are detailed instructions once you click on the link and it shouldn’t take more than 2-3 minutes to fill out. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to be in touch with either of us.
